My Job
I am responsible for coordinating, organizing, and monitoring the activities of the South Processing, Single Barrel Processing, and Regauge Departments at Jack Daniel’s. These departments ensure the quality of Jack Daniel’s brands exceed consumer expectations by maintaining the traditional flavor and maturity profile our loyal customers have come to expect. Through our innovative filtration and treatment techniques we ensure that each bottle out of our 11-million-case brand looks and tastes exactly as it did when the brand was founded almost 150 years ago. I also ensure that these departments are in compliance with appropriate regulating authorities including ISO, TTB, and TOSHA.
My Motivation
I want to ensure that Jack Daniel’s continues to be the best selling, best tasting whiskey in the world. Our company’s quality slogan, “Each day we make it, we make it the best we can…..” is exactly how I motivate myself at Jack Daniel’s. Each day I come to work, I strive to do the best I can.
My Contribution
As an Ambassador to several brands in Brown-Forman’s portfolio, I enjoy talking to friends and family about the many fine products we produce. I have converted long-time customers of other brands to a Brown-Forman product simply by asking them to try it. It has been my experience that a “word of mouth endorsement” is a very good advertising tool.

I enjoy working with a team that understands the importance of developing and engaging exceptional people. We are a family of highly motivated individuals working together as a unit to ensure everyone at our company has the opportunity to excel.
My Environment
The work environment at Brown-Forman is as diverse and interesting as its work force. At Jack Daniel’s we work in a relaxed family type environment. We understand the importance of taking the time to enjoy a beautiful sunset, but we also understand what it takes to become the number one selling whiskey in the world. We work hard, play hard, and of course we enjoy our fine products responsibly when we are away from work.
My Opportunities
I have had the opportunity to learn about aspects of the business unrelated to production. Brown-Forman does not limit its employees to their current position, but instead encourages each individual to consider future positions. Each individual decides their next career move , and Brown-Forman offers opportunities for that person to obtain the education/skills necessary to be successful in that position.
